Who am I?
I’m a 40 something year old wife, mom, and college instructor (psychology) living on the Gulf Coast of Florida. I love to write, read, sew, and, surprisingly enough, run.
I’m not a “running blogger” – that is – someone who can tell you how to train and what to eat. I’m not a professional or elite or even someone who can calculate paces in her sleep. So far no companies have read my blog and offered to let me do product giveaways for them. (Sorry.)
But I do know somethings about running.
For example, I can tell you what a farklet is – but I’ll giggle while I say it.
I can nod along when people talk about Yasso 400s and such. But to calculate those sort of things means using math based neurons that have been dormant since college.
And I can tell you where to get good shoes and such. And I can name races I’ve done or want to do.
I won’t dazzle you with amazing times in my races, however. Instead – you’ll be amazing that an average old mommy can even find the courage to run the race and just be happy to finish.
I just run and write about it (and my life in general) because I love to do both. And cause it somehow might tickle or even inspire my family and friends and all 12 people who read this blog.
